One of our best cartoonists tackles facebook. The image is a bit big, so please just click on the link.

For the 99% of earthlings who don't know, a wobbegong is a smallish and generally unaggressive shark.

Macron with a wrecking ball named "reforms". In the background, ruins of public hospitals, public universities, public healthcare agency

Someone throws stone.

translation: I have to protect myself against the stench of this society where the poor want too much help from the government, which means from me, the businessman taxpayer

Some guy with this as the main picture on his blog, basically extreme libertarian propaganda against almost all forms of taxes, against "free stuff" and critical of social safety nets as too expensive for taxpayers (understand: the rich), tries to posture as a voice of reason (which is the joke here).

Yet social issues are just as important as environmental ones. If we try solving the latter without giving enough importance to the former, we will end up in a world similar to that described in The Expanse

I think we won't actually be able to solve the environmental problems without at least starting serious work on the social problems (e.g. collapsing the global Ponzi scheme https://thinkprogress.org/is-the-global ... 06fbd46c3/ ) but that's getting too serious to discuss here.
