This piece is far from being the best of its kind but features recordings of SN Goenka (clearly at 5:53)

Here's Pat with some other legends. The Tyner -> Metheny progression has, in my mind, echos of "A Love Supreme".

Greetings,

I'm listening to a lot of New Order songs (and songs of their side-projects) in advance of a New Order Tribute night I'm hosting in March. As part of the preparation and shortlisting of tunes, I'm mindful of not having too many songs with Bernard Sumner's vocals, so in order to make it appear a bit more varied, I've been exploring their instrumentals and remixes for cool tracks. This is a mix of an instrumental tune from Electronic - Bernard Sumner's side project with Johnny Marr, formerly of The Smiths...

"Let us neither be perpetrators nor victims!" (DN26)

I remember when that song came out I liked it. It not only has a catchy tune, but the lyrics are true in that we are mammals even "nothing but mammals"

We are just an intelligent ape; members of the Animal Kingdom, Class of mammals, Order of Primates.

In mammals, the relationship between death instinct and sexual drive is an interesting one. In romantic movies, a life threatening situation is a common theme before falling and love and the act of copulation. According to Mr. Google, some porn websites are witnessing a spike in the number of viewers during the coronavirus outbreak. This is even before people being forced to stay home by governments.

Recently when all this hoarding and run to the groceries stores started, I heard someone say, "the inner ape is emerging."

Greetings,

I'm indefinitely in a "working from home" pattern, so it's a great chance to attack my "listening pile" of CDs which has grown out of control over the past year or so, due to having little time to listen to CDs I get a hold of. That's going to change now!

Just randomly, the CD that happens to be on now in by Kent. This song was pretty good...

If it's good enough for prince Charles, then it must be good enough for all.
