I created a poll over at DWM:
https://dharmawheel.net/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=32708

There's no point of putting it here, since there are so few active users here, so I put it over at DWM where there will be more responses.

I think it's worth doing here too, if only to see if there's a discernible difference in demographics.

Besides... it's still a long way to go, so there's still plenty of time for people to vote.

Thanks. These days it's hard to tell the players without a scorecard.

Corey Booker dropped out. I'm sure some more will drop out after the Iowa and New Hampshire voting.

The CNN host openly assumed Bernie Sanders lies when he denies Warren's apparently false claim. Tulsi Gabbard tweeted that he offered her encouragements when he learned she was running against him, which gives his denial of Warren's claim all the more credit

I'm not a Bernie supporter, but I'd say he's the only one who performed well last night. When I watch the others and their mistakes, gaffes, etc; I think "this is what the Dems have to offer?" -- then Trump must be happy.

Jill Stein is another person who makes a lot of sense and gets smeared endlessly as a Putin puttet (because he once sat as the same table as her for a few minutes)

I saw what the CNN moderator did to Bernie - indirectly accusing him of lying... what a dog act.

As for the paucity of talent on stage, is it because they are genuinely bereft of talent, or are they orchestrating this inept freak show of candidates, so that a "dark horse" can swan in and become the savior once all the mutual attacks are done? I'm thinking here of a Royal Rumble, where the person who comes into the ring last is in the best position as they've not been subjected to any crossfire. If so, how long is there left for a newcomer to make an appearance before the primaries kick off?

Warren to Sanders: "I think you just called me a liar on national tv."

Since Warren started her lie/smear attack on TV, Bernie has made about 4 millions, including from 25,000 new donors. Warren must be losing her more astute supporters as she reveals herself as the conwoman she is

Much like Trump, attempts to attack Bernie seem to only give him more momentum at this point. Watch out for the antisemitic smears next

I wasted two hours of my life last night watching the debate. The only slight chance the dems have would be Sanders: left wing populism vs right wing populism.

And who on earth is Tom Steyer?

:D

Another billionaire.

There are only about 7 (viable) people left in the race and 3 of them are billionaires.

(Bloomberg, Steyer, Trump)

They are spending hundreds of millions of dollars -- and for what? They'll still lose (except perhaps The Donald).
Actually, Steyer and Bloomberg are not so viable so that leaves just Trump, Biden, Buttigieg, Warren, Sanders.

At least Trump has his unique charisma. I could barely watch this guy, and almost half way of the debate, i could not resist skipping his input.

His family are quite cosy with the Podestas from what I hear.
