First I've heard of them, but a quick search reveals the following:

Interesting that something like this holds any sense of meaning to you. (I assume it does, otherwise you wouldn't have presented it.)

On what logical basis would anyone believe a "fact checker" site has more integrity, impartiality, independence or reliability than that which they "check"?

Do "fact checkers" claim for themselves an intellectual monopoly on the truth, and how was that status granted to them? On their say so? And you'll accept that?...

Not everyone has to check with an authority to determine if a site is of interest or value. Some can make up their own mind - but some cannot, without knowing what Big Brother says.

Radical Islam will be pleased also. Notice that Mosques around the globe seemed to escape most or all of the mobs' looting & fiery destruction.

One doesn't have to assume anything but follow up the links to the sources and check whether the reporting is backed up by solid evidence.

Regarding "the dark place where our society is heading" it would be interesting to see the evidence. My impression is that while there are extreme voices who attempt to limit freedom of speech only to the speech that aligns with their political/ideological beliefs, such efforts have had little effect. Many countries have banned vilification of minorities which aligns with the mainstream views. In Germany due to their history, speech involving Nazi symbols or ideas is severely curtailed. These are the main changes we've seen. Apart from that, what people refer to as cancel culture or this disruption of certain public talks, is something that is part of free speech itself. And though we may not like the way it is being expressed, the lack of tolerance among some people, they too are entitled to express themselves within the law.

Jihad Watch
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jihad Watch has widely been described as an anti-Muslim conspiracy blog.[7][8][9] Jihad Watch has been criticized for its portrayal of Islam as a totalitarian political doctrine.[8] Jihad Watch has been described by the Southern Poverty Law Center[10][5] and Anti-Defamation League[11] as trafficking in Islamophobic conspiracy theories. Guardian writer Brian Whitaker described Jihad Watch as a "notoriously Islamophobic website",[12] while other critics such as Dinesh D'Souza,[13] Karen Armstrong,[14] and Cathy Young,[15] pointed to what they see as "deliberate mischaracterizations" of Islam and Muslims by Spencer as inherently violent and therefore prone to terrorism. Spencer has denied such criticism,[16] and has said that the term "Islamophobe" is "a tool used by Islamic apologists to silence criticism."[16]The website is labelled "unreliable" by NewsGuard as of October 2019.[17]

Robert B. Spencer

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spencer is known for his anti-Muslim views.[1][2][3][4][18][19][20] He describes himself a Islamophobe of "the 'good' kind",[5] and comments on radical Islam.[21]

Spencer co-founded the anti-Muslim[1][2][3][4] group Stop Islamization of America (also known as the American Freedom Defense Initiative) with Pamela Geller in 2010. The organization is designated as a hate group by the Anti-Defamation League[22] and the Southern Poverty Law Center.[23][24][25] He and Geller led a campaign to stop the building of Park51, an Islamic community center near the World Trade Center, which they referred to as the "Ground Zero Mosque".[18]
